Which government jobs can I get after 10th pass?
Common options are SSC GD Constable and MTS, Railway Level-1 (Group D), Army Agniveer (General Duty), India Post Gramin Dak Sevak, Coast Guard Navik (Domestic Branch), and peon or chowkidar posts in courts and government offices.
Is there an exam for India Post GDS?
No. Gramin Dak Sevak posts are filled through a merit list based on Class 10 marks, followed by document verification.
What is the usual age limit for 10th pass govt jobs?
Most posts take candidates from 18 years. The upper limit varies — for example 23 years for SSC GD Constable for general candidates, while Railway Level-1 allows older candidates. Reserved categories get relaxation as per rules, and the exact limits are in each notification.
Do I need ITI for Railway Group D?
No. RRB Level-1 posts accept Class 10 pass, or ITI, or a National Apprenticeship Certificate — any one of these is enough as per recent notifications.
