The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi has declared the NORCET-11 Stage-II (Mains) result through Result Notification No. 287/2026, dated 9 October 2026. NORCET-11 is the Nursing Officer Recruitment Common Eligibility Test. A total of 10,613 candidates have provisionally qualified in the online CBT held on 30 September 2026. They now go to online seat allocation for 2,218 Nursing Officer posts at Level 7 of the pay matrix, in AIIMS and other central government hospitals.
Qualifying does not by itself guarantee a job. Selection depends on your NORCET rank, the institutes you choose, and document verification. Choice filling runs from 30 October to 6 November 2026 (5:00 PM). If you miss it, you cannot be considered for any post. AIIMS Rishikesh in Uttarakhand has 38 posts in this round.

How to Check the NORCET-11 Result and Score
- Go to aiimsexams.ac.in.
- Open the NORCET-11 Stage-II result notification. This is a PDF list of qualified candidates by roll number, showing category, gender, percentage and rank. Use Ctrl+F to search for your roll number.
- To see your own score, log in to MyPage with your Candidate ID and password. Every candidate, including those who did not qualify, has been given a score.

These are the qualifying marks set in the exam scheme: 50% for UR/EWS, 45% for OBC and 40% for SC/ST, with 5% less for PwBD candidates. The highest score in the list is 82.917%.

At AIIMS Rishikesh the 38 posts are UR 2, OBC 18, SC 3, ST 5 and EWS 10. At participating AIIMS, 80% of seats are for women and 20% for men. These figures come from Annexure-V of the NORCET-11 advertisement and may be revised. The final seat position will be published on 30 October 2026.
Choice Filling and Allocation: Rules You Must Know
- Only one round of allocation is planned, and there is no waiting list. Seats are allocated in order of merit, based on the choices you fill.
- If you are allocated a seat from your choices, you must join. Not joining cancels your candidature for NORCET-11. So list only the institutes you are really ready to join.
- If you fill only a few choices even though you are eligible for more, you will not be considered for the institutes you left out.
- Only qualified candidates who meet the eligibility rules of each institute can choose it. Eligibility is checked again by the institute you are allotted.
- Posting, seniority and service conditions follow the rules of the institute you join. A seat at AIIMS-CAPFIMS is not a seat at AIIMS New Delhi, and there is no transfer between them.

- Registration slip and admit card printouts
- Proof of date of birth
- B.Sc./Post-Basic B.Sc. Nursing or GNM certificate and marksheets
- Registration as Nurse & Midwife with the State or Indian Nursing Council
- Experience certificate (2 years in a 50-bed hospital for GNM candidates), showing bed strength, dates and pay
- OBC-NCL certificate (central format, issued between 1 April and 13 August 2026) or EWS certificate for 2026-27, if applicable
- PwBD certificate, and an NOC if you work in a government, PSU or autonomous body (including contract staff)
Pay
Nursing Officer is a Group B post at Level 7 of the pay matrix (pre-revised Pay Band-2, ₹9,300–34,800 + Grade Pay ₹4,600), with the allowances admissible to central government employees in the city of posting.
