Important for Candidates From Uttarakhand and Other States

  • Anyone in India can apply. But OBC reservation is only for OBC (Delhi) candidates. An OBC certificate from another state counts only if it was issued on the basis of a Delhi OBC certificate held by your father, sibling or paternal uncle who lived in Delhi before 8 September 1993. Otherwise, OBC candidates from Uttarakhand or other states must apply as UR, and they get no OBC age relaxation.
  • OBC (Delhi) candidates need a non-creamy-layer certificate issued between 1 April 2026 and 11 November 2026.
  • EWS candidates need an Income & Asset certificate for FY 2026-27 (based on income for 2025-26), issued by 11 November 2026.
  • Exam centres will be in Delhi/NCR and other states, as decided by DSSSB.

  • Minimum qualifying marks: 50% for UR/EWS, and 45% for OBC (Delhi), SC, ST, PwBD and ex-servicemen.
  • Up to 10 times the vacancies are called for the 15-mark interview, which the Principal District & Sessions Judge (HQs) holds at Tis Hazari. There is no minimum mark in the interview.

How to Apply

  1. Register on the OARS portal now if you have never applied to DSSSB before. Go to dsssbonline.nic.in → Click for New Registration. Registration is open all the time, and you only ever do it once. Have a scanned photo ID (PAN, voter ID, driving licence or passport, 15–60 KB) ready, or give your Aadhaar number instead. The session lasts 30 minutes.
  2. Verify your mobile number and email by OTP. Your name, gender and father's name cannot be changed after registration. If your Class 10 roll number has letters, enter only the digits, without leading zeros.
  3. From 13 October 2026 (12 noon), log in with your registration number, select Post Code 46/26 and/or 47/26, and fill in the form.
  4. Upload a recent colour photo with a white background, front-facing with eyes open. Pay ₹100 if it applies to you, then print the form.

Making more than one registration leads to cancellation and a ban from DSSSB exams. After submission, nothing can be changed, including your category. Documents are asked for later as an e-dossier, and if you miss that window your candidature is dropped.

Exam-Day Rules

  • Wear light, half-sleeved clothes without big buttons or badges, with salwar or trousers
  • Wear slippers or low-heeled sandals. Shoes are not allowed.
  • No mobile phone, earbuds, Bluetooth device, calculator, electronic watch or metal item, even if switched off
  • Bring the same photo you uploaded, printed on photo paper, whenever the Board asks for it
