Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Institute of Medical Sciences (Dr. RMLIMS), Lucknow is recruiting 74 non-teaching posts in Groups B, C and D through a computer-based test (Advertisement Nos. 78–83/Estb.-2/Rectt./Dr.RMLIMS/2026, dated 25 August 2026). The biggest openings are 32 Hospital Attendant Grade-II posts for 10th pass candidates and 30 Stenographer posts for graduates. There are also Receptionist, Programmer, Medical Physicist and Radiation Safety Officer posts.

Eligibility
Educational qualification
- Hospital Attendant Gr-II: 10th pass. Experience of working in a civil or military hospital, a nursing home or with a medical practitioner is desirable.
- Stenographer: Graduate with above 55% marks, shorthand at 80 wpm in Hindi and English, typing at 40 wpm (English) / 35 wpm (Hindi), and computer knowledge. If bilingual stenographers are not available, English-only stenographers may be considered.
- Receptionist: A degree plus a postgraduate diploma in Journalism / Public Relations. Experience in PR, publications or printing and computer exposure are desirable.
- Programmer: B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science / Computer Engineering, or a postgraduate degree in Computer Application.
- Medical Physicist: M.Sc. Physics + PG Diploma in Radiological/Medical Physics + 12-month internship in a recognised radiotherapy department (or a basic science degree with Physics + PG degree in Radiological/Medical Physics + internship).
- Radiation Safety Officer: the Medical Physicist qualification plus RSO qualification as per AERB norms.
Experience, where asked for, must be after the qualifying degree, and the experience certificate must show the letter number, date and number of hospital beds.
Age limit
18 to 40 years on the last date of application. SC, ST and OBC candidates of Uttar Pradesh get up to 5 years' relaxation; persons with disabilities get 5 years (Group B) or 10 years (Group C) for General, and 10 / 15 years for OBC, SC and ST; regular UP government employees with three years' service get up to 5 years.
Candidates from Uttarakhand and other states
Reservation (SC, ST, OBC, EWS and horizontal) is only for domiciles of Uttar Pradesh. Candidates from Uttarakhand or any other state can apply, but only in the Unreserved (UR) category, and the UP age relaxations do not apply to them.

The fee is paid online and is not refunded. Applications without the fee are rejected.
Selection Process and Exam Pattern
- Screening CBT — qualifying only. From those who get the minimum marks, 10 times the number of posts in each category go to the Main exam. Screening marks are not counted later.
- Main CBT — the final merit is made only on Main exam marks.
- Skill test (Stenographer) — five times the posts in each category are called for shorthand/typing (Mangal or Krutidev 10 font). It is qualifying only.
- Pre-employment medical examination by the institute's board.

Each correct answer gets 1 mark and 0.25 mark is deducted for a wrong answer. Minimum qualifying marks are 50% for UR/EWS and 40% for SC, ST, OBC and PwD. The exam date, time and venue will be on the admit card (hall ticket), which you print from drrmlims.ac.in.

- Pay the fee online and download the submitted form. Apply before 20 November 2026.
Eligibility is not checked before the CBT, so make sure you meet every condition yourself — a candidature can be cancelled at any stage, even after the merit list.
