CISF Constable Exam Date 2026: Fire, Tradesman and Driver/DCPO 2024 Written Exam (CBE) on 1 December

The Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) has announced the written exam date for three of its 2024 constable recruitments. The Computer Based Examination (CBE) for Constable (Fire) 2024, Constable (Tradesman) 2024 and Constable (Driver & DCPO) 2024 is tentatively scheduled for 1 December 2026, in multiple shifts.

This is the next stage for candidates who cleared the PET/PST/DV held from 24 December 2024 to 20 January 2025. The admit card will be issued online on cisfrectt.cisf.gov.in — it is not sent by post. The date is tentative. CISF has asked candidates to keep checking cisfrectt.cisf.gov.in for the admit card and any change in schedule.

Constable (Fire) Exam Pattern

• Objective (multiple choice) questions in Hindi and English, of Class 12 (science) standard.
• No negative marking.
• Qualifying marks: 35% for UR, EWS and ex-servicemen; 33% for SC, ST and OBC.
• Marks are normalised because the exam is in more than one shift.
• No calculator or electronic gadget is allowed. Your identity is checked against the biometrics taken at PET/PST.

What Happens After the Exam

1. Answer key: CISF puts the tentative key on its website. Objections cost ₹100 per question, online only.
2. Medical (DME): about 2 times the vacancies are called, state-wise and category-wise, based on written exam marks.
3. Merit list: separate state-wise and category-wise lists based on written exam marks. There is no waiting list.
4. Tie: the older candidate gets preference, then the taller candidate.

How to Download the Admit Card

1. Go to cisfrectt.cisf.gov.in once CISF releases the CBE admit card.
2. Log in with the registration ID and password you used for the application and PET/PST.
3. Download and print the e-admit card. Carry it with two recent colour passport-size photos and an original photo ID with your date of birth (Aadhaar, voter ID, PAN, driving licence, passport etc.). CISF helpline: 011-24366431 / 24307933.
