How to Apply

  1. Go to rrbapply.gov.in. If you created an account for an earlier RRB CEN (2024, 2025 or 2026), log in with the same account. Otherwise click Create an Account. Fill it carefully, because these details can never be changed.
  2. Verify your identity with Aadhaar or DigiLocker. RRB advises this, and candidates who use other photo IDs face stricter checks at every stage.
  3. Open the CEN 07/2026 form, choose one RRB and give your preference for the posts and railway zones you want and are eligible for.
  4. Capture a live photo through the webcam or phone camera, and upload your signature and, if needed, the SC/ST certificate for a free train travel pass.
  5. Link your Aadhaar-seeded bank account for the refund, pay the fee and submit by 13 November 2026, 11:59 PM. Download the confirmation.

Live photo rules: you do not upload an old photo. Sit in front of a plain white background, wear plain dark-coloured clothes that cover your shoulders, keep the camera at eye level and look straight with a neutral face. Your head should fill at least half of the frame.

Signature rules: sign in running handwriting (not capital letters) with a black pen on white paper. Upload it as a JPG/JPEG of 30–49 KB, at least 140 × 60 pixels. A signature in capitals, in another colour or on a coloured background can get your application rejected at any stage.

Submit only one application. Applying more than once, to the same or different RRBs, leads to rejection of all applications and a ban from future RRB exams.
