How to Download the JTET Admit Card 2026

- Open the JTET 2026 admit card link and log in with your application details.
- Check your name, photo, level, exam centre and shift, then print the admit card.
Exam Day Rules
- Reach the centre two hours before the exam. The main gate closes 30 minutes before each shift starts.
- Carry the admit card and an original photo ID such as the Aadhaar card.
- Mobile phones and all electronic devices are banned at the centre.
- Use only a blue or black pen on the OMR sheet and darken the circles fully; wrongly filled answers are not evaluated. There is no re-checking of the OMR after the result.
- Visually impaired candidates, candidates with cerebral palsy and those affected in both hands get 30 minutes extra. To use a scribe, they must submit a disability certificate (with percentage) and an application to the District Education Officer before the exam; the scribe must be a student of Class 9 at most.
JTET 2026 Exam Pattern
- Two separate levels: Level 1 for teachers of Classes 1–5 and Level 2 for Classes 6–8. You can appear in both.
- Each level is a single objective (multiple choice) paper of 2 hours 30 minutes, answered on an OMR sheet.
- Level 1 questions follow the state syllabus of Classes 1–5, at the difficulty of matric (Class 10). Level 2 questions follow the syllabus of Classes 6–8, at the difficulty of Intermediate (Class 12).
- There is no negative marking.
JTET Pass Marks
| Category | Minimum marks to pass |
| General / EWS | 60% |
| Backward Class-1 / Backward Class-2 | 55% |
| SC / ST / PVTG / Divyang | 52% |
Passing JTET makes you eligible to be considered for teacher posts (Sahayak Acharya) in Jharkhand government primary and upper primary schools; it is not a job by itself. A candidate can take the test again to improve the score.
After the Exam
JAC will publish the answer key and the result on its website; the dates have not been announced yet. The certificate's validity and other rules are as per the Jharkhand Teacher Eligibility Test Rules 2026 published by the council.
