10th pass + ITI (NCVT) candidates can apply for Technician-B, and 10th pass drivers with 3–5 years' experience for the driver posts. Age limit is 18–35 years. The electronics trades accepted are Electronics Mechanic, Technician Power Electronics Systems, Mechanic Consumer Electronics Appliances, Instrument Mechanic and Mechanic Industrial Electronics. Some posts are reserved for PwBD. URSC has 29 posts for ex-servicemen (21 Technician-B, 8 drivers), 24 of them backlog.

- Age: 18 to 35 years on 13 November 2026.
- Relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC, only against posts reserved for them. Against UR posts there is no relaxation. PwBD, ex-servicemen, central government employees, widows and divorced women get relaxation as per government rules.
- For drivers, experience counts only after getting the licence, must be full-time, and the certificate must be from a government / semi-government body or registered company, society or trust — not from an individual.
- Drivers must meet any other Karnataka Motor Vehicles Act requirement within 3 months of joining.
- Only candidates who have already passed can apply. Government employees need an NOC at the skill test.

First there is a screening of applications based on academic marks; only screened-in candidates are called for the written test. The written test may be held in Bengaluru or other cities across India; the skill test is only in Bengaluru (sleeper/second-class rail fare paid to outstation candidates).

- Complete it by 13 November 2026, 11:55 PM. A submitted form cannot be edited — to change anything, apply again (the latest paid form counts).
