UP Anganwadi Bharti 2026: District-wise Vacancy — Hardoi 644, Badaun 391, Ballia 242 Posts, Apply on upanganwadibharti.in

Districts in Uttar Pradesh are filling Anganwadi Karyakatri (Anganwadi Worker) and Anganwadi Sahayika (Helper) posts on an honorarium (मानदेय) basis through the department's website upanganwadibharti.in. Each district publishes its own notice and dates. Only women can apply, and you must be a resident of the same gram sabha or ward where the post is.

This page lists the district notices we have checked, with posts and last dates, and the common rules from the state government order (शासनादेश संख्या 1/1092245/2025/3313/58-1-2025, dated 17 September 2025). Everything below is from the District Programme Officer (DPO) notices.

District-wise Vacancies and Dates

The gram sabha-wise and ward-wise list of vacancies, with reservation, is on the notice boards of the Collectorate, Vikas Bhawan, tehsil and block offices, and on upanganwadibharti.in. Each notice says the number of posts can go up or down. We will add other districts here as we verify their notices.

Eligibility (common to the district notices)

• Women only.
• Qualification: at least Intermediate (Class 12) or equivalent. The online merit is prepared on qualifications up to post-graduation.
• Age: 18 to 35 years as on 1 July 2026. The date of birth in the High School marksheet and certificate is accepted.
• Residence: you must be a permanent resident of the same gram sabha (or ward, in urban areas) where the post is. Badaun's notice says that if no eligible candidate is available there, a resident of the same nyay panchayat can be considered.
• Two women from the same family will not be appointed at the same Anganwadi centre (Badaun and Ballia notices).

Selection Priority

Selection is by online merit, with this order of priority within the same gram sabha or ward (as listed in the Hardoi notice):

1. Widows from BPL (below poverty line) families
2. Divorced or abandoned (parityakta) women from BPL families
3. Other women from BPL families
4. Widows from APL families
5. Divorced or abandoned women from APL families
6. Other women from APL families, on merit

For BPL status, the Hardoi notice applies the income limit of ₹46,080 a year in rural areas and ₹56,460 a year in urban areas (Social Welfare order of 14 September 2015).

Documents

• Income, caste and residence certificates issued online by the tehsil with a digital signature, which can be verified online. Ballia's notice says the income certificate must be issued within 3 years of 26 November 2026.
• High School marksheet and certificate (date of birth) and marksheets of higher qualifications
• For widows: death certificate issued by the Gram Panchayat Officer or the urban local body, and a certified copy of the Parivar Register
• For divorced or abandoned women: the court's legal order
• Self-attested, clear and readable copies of every document mentioned in the online form

How to Apply

1. Open upanganwadibharti.in. Use the Karyakatri (Worker) registration page for worker posts, or the Sahayika (Helper) registration page for helper posts (such as the 315 Sahayika posts in Hardoi).
2. Register, then log in (worker candidates: worker login) and choose your district, project and the post for your gram sabha or ward.
3. Fill in the form carefully, upload self-attested copies of all documents and submit before your district's last date.
4. Print the application and match it with your original documents.

Only online applications are accepted. Offline forms and offline correction requests are not considered, and a wrong or forged entry cancels the application. For help, contact the Child Development Project Officer (CDPO) of your block or the District Programme Officer's office.
