The Uttarakhand Board of School Education (UBSE), Ramnagar has announced the admit card for the two-year D.El.Ed Entrance Exam 2026. Candidates can download it from 9 November 2026, 11:00 AM at ukdeled.com and at ubse.uk.gov.in. The exam is on 18 November 2026, from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM, in 13 districts of Uttarakhand.

How to Download the Admit Card
- From 9 November, 11:00 AM, open ukdeled.com, or ubse.uk.gov.in → Departmental Exam → DElEd.
- Log in with your registration number and password, or your name and date of birth exactly as in your application form.
- Download the admit card and take a clear printout. It will not come by post.
- Check your name, photo, roll number and centre, and follow the instructions printed on it.
UBSE says candidates are being admitted on the basis of the details they gave in the form, so candidature is fully provisional. Certificates are checked at counselling, and any mismatch can cancel your selection.
Admit Card Not Downloading? Get It from the Nodal Centre
If you applied online with the fee and still cannot download it, go on 16 or 17 November during office hours to the nodal centre in the exam city you chose first. Take:
- A photocopy of your online application form
- 2 passport-size photos, the same as the one uploaded in the form
- A photocopy of the photo ID mentioned in your form

Narendra Nagar candidates, please note: the brochure lists Narendra Nagar (code 08) as an exam city, but the nodal list in the 5 November notice shows no entry for serial number 8. If this was your first choice and your admit card does not download, call UBSE on 05947-254275 before 16 November.
What to Carry on Exam Day
- Admit card, ball pen and Aadhaar card
- The photo ID you entered in the form (Aadhaar, driving licence, voter ID, passport or PAN)
Not allowed: calculator, log table, mobile phone, pager, digital watch or other electronic device, printed or handwritten material, and blank paper. Having these leads to an unfair-means case. You cannot enter once the exam has started, and you cannot leave before it ends.

Scribe Rules for Candidates with Disabilities
Candidates who claimed a scribe in the form but did not send the documents to the Board can still get the facility. They must submit all documents at the allotted exam centre or nodal centre one day before, on 17 November 2026: Appendix 4(I), Appendix 4(II), Appendix 5, the scribe's sworn photo and their highest qualification record.
The scribe must be 2 to 3 academic years below the required qualification, and not above first-year graduation or below Intermediate level. So the scribe should have passed Intermediate in 2025-26 and now be in first-year graduation, or be studying in Class 12 in 2026-27.
After the Exam: Answer Key, Merit and Seats
- Answer key: UBSE puts up a provisional key after the exam. Objections with proof go only by email to deled2015@gmail.com, within the time given.
- Selection: merit of the entrance exam marks, with no interview. On equal marks, the older candidate ranks higher.
- Seats: 650 in all, with 50 per DIET: 325 Science and 325 Non-Science.
- Counselling: held at state level, where original certificates are checked and DIET districts are allotted by merit and choice.
- Fees for the course: ₹35,000 a year for training plus ₹1,000 a semester for exams.
- Important: UBSE's brochure says completing D.El.Ed gives no guarantee of a government job. Recruitment follows the service rules in force.
