The Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC) has published Advertisement No. 26-Exam/2026 for the Combined Lower Subordinate (Intermediate Level) Main Exam (PET-2025)/26, popularly called UPSSSC Lower PCS 2026. There are 1,784 posts in 12 departments, including Village Development Officer (525), Gram Panchayat Adhikari (508), Commercial Tax Collection Amin (235) and Land Acquisition Amin (187).
Only candidates who appeared in PET-2025 and have its score card can apply. Online applications open on 10 November 2026 and close on 1 December 2026 at upsssc.gov.in. The application fee is just ₹25. All details below are from the official advertisement dated 16 October 2026.

Level 3 = ₹21,700–69,100; Level 2 = ₹19,900–63,200. Horizontal reservation applies for women, ex-servicemen, dependants of freedom fighters, PwD and outstanding sportspersons. Reservation is only for natives of Uttar Pradesh; UP women must show a caste certificate from their father's side. Vacancies may increase or decrease.

You must also have appeared in PET-2025 and received its score card. Preference is given (other things equal) to candidates with 2 years in the Territorial Army or an NCC 'B' certificate; for Gram Panchayat Adhikari, a rural background is also a preference.
Age Limit (as on 1 July 2026)
- 18 to 40 years for all posts except Farm Clerk.
- Farm Clerk: 21 to 30 years.
- Upper age relaxation for UP SC, ST, OBC and other notified categories as per Uttar Pradesh government rules. Cooperative Agriculture Supervisor: 5 years extra for those already in cooperative service.
Who Can Apply — PET-2025 Rule
- Only candidates who took PET-2025 can apply; you log in with your PET-2025 registration number.
- Shortlisting for the Main exam is based on the PET-2025 normalised score, by merit.
- Candidates with a zero or negative PET-2025 score cannot be shortlisted.

Application Fee
Only the online processing fee of ₹25 for UR, OBC, SC and ST alike. Shortlisted candidates pay a separate main exam fee before downloading the admit card.
How to Apply
- From 10 November 2026, open upsssc.gov.in → Live Advertisement → Advertisement 26-Exam/2026.
- Log in with your PET-2025 registration number and the OTP sent to your registered mobile/email.
- Your PET details, photo and signature appear automatically. Select the posts you want and fill in qualification, CCC and preference details.
- Pay ₹25 online or by SBI e-challan, submit by 1 December 2026, and print your form. Corrections are allowed until 8 December 2026.
