Mukhyamantri Yuva Bhavishya Nirman Yojana 2026 Uttarakhand: Free Online Coaching for UPSC, PCS, SSC, Bank — Eligibility & Selection

The Mukhyamantri Yuva Bhavishya Nirman Yojana 2026 is an Uttarakhand government scheme that gives free online coaching for competitive exams to students of state universities and government colleges. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami launched it on 7 September 2026 at Mukhya Sevak Sadan, Dehradun, and the government says about 11,000 students will be covered in the first phase.

The Higher Education Department has selected three institutes for the first phase (letter no. 3717, 4 August 2026):

The department has also invited e-tenders (August–September 2026) for coaching for MBA entrance (CAT, MAT) and UGC NET, GATE and CSIR NET. Those courses will be added once the institutes are finalised.

Who Is Eligible (First Phase)

• Students in the final year of graduation or post-graduation at a state university or government college of Uttarakhand.
• Students who passed graduation or post-graduation last year and received a scholarship under the Mukhyamantri Uchch Shiksha Shodh Protsahan Chhatravritti Yojana.
• The first phase focuses on toppers: colleges and universities send the details of their top students to the directorate.
• The launch announcement also mentions government-aided colleges; ask your college whether your class is included.

How Students Are Selected

1. The Higher Education Directorate asks every state university registrar and government college principal for the details of topper students in the eligible classes.
2. The college prepares a list (name, father's name, class, college, mobile number and e-mail) and sends it to the directorate.
3. Selected students receive login details from the coaching institute for their exam.
4. Coaching runs online, so students can study from home, which helps those in hill and remote areas.

There is no separate public application form for the first phase. If you are in your final year, contact your college principal or university and ask whether your name has been sent. Beware of websites or agents asking for money to "register" you — the coaching is free.
