PM Kisan Samman Nidhi gives eligible farmer families ₹6,000 a year in three instalments of ₹2,000, paid straight into their bank accounts. The 23rd instalment was released by the Prime Minister on 20 June 2026 from Tarakeswar (Hooghly, West Bengal): over ₹18,880 crore to more than 9.44 crore farmers, including 2.18 crore women farmers.

Farmers are now waiting for the PM Kisan 24th instalment. The government has not announced its date yet. Instalments usually come about four months apart, so the 24th is expected around October–November 2026. This page explains how to check your status, why a payment can get stuck, how to complete e-KYC, and who is eligible. We will add the official date here as soon as it is announced.

Why Your PM Kisan Payment May Not Come

Most farmers whose instalment stops have one of these problems. Fix them before the 24th instalment is released:

  • e-KYC not done — e-KYC is compulsory for every beneficiary.
  • Land seeding shows "No" — your land records are not linked; contact your patwari or the agriculture office.
  • Bank account not linked to Aadhaar or not enabled for DBT (NPCI) — ask your bank, or open an India Post Payments Bank account.
  • Wrong name, Aadhaar or bank details in the registration.
  • The farmer is in an excluded category (see Eligibility below).
