The U.P. Co-operative Institutional Service Board (UPCISB), Lucknow has released the exam schedule for the Combined Co-operative Banking, Non-Banking and Technical Services Examination (General Recruitment) 2026, Advertisement No. A-2/G.R./2026. Notice dated 1 October 2026: the online exam for Assistant/Cashier, Accountant, Assistant Accountant, Accounts Clerk and Junior Engineer (Civil) runs on 14, 16, 22 and 26 October 2026.
This is a single-stage exam and is the Main Exam. There will be no preliminary exam for these posts, and Main Exam marks go directly into the merit list. Applications were taken from 25 April to 15 May 2026. The exam is conducted online through IBPS, and call letters are downloaded from the IBPS portal.

Admit Card (Call Letter)
- Call letters are issued on the IBPS portal linked from upcisb.upsdc.gov.in. You will also get a message on your registered email and mobile number.
- To log in, you need your Registration Number/Roll Number and your Password/Date of Birth.
- Paste a recent photo on the admit card that looks like the one you uploaded. Carry the admit card along with an original photo ID and a photocopy of it.
- Accepted ID includes PAN, passport, permanent driving licence, voter ID, Aadhaar/e-Aadhaar, a bank passbook with photo, or a college/employee ID. A ration card or learner's licence is not accepted. The name on the ID must match the admit card exactly.
- Late arrivals are not allowed in. The paper is 2 hours long, but expect to spend about 4 hours at the centre for verification and login.
- Candidates who changed their name after marriage must bring the gazette notification, marriage certificate or affidavit.
Exam Pattern
All papers are online and objective: 120 questions, 200 marks, 2 hours, four options per question. ¼ of the marks for a question is deducted for each wrong answer, and marking more than one option counts as wrong. There is no penalty for leaving a question blank. Questions are in Hindi and English, except in the language sections.

- Minimum marks to enter the merit list: 40%, or 35% for SC/ST.
- Scores from different shifts are equated (normalised) and shown up to two decimal places. The cut-off applies both to each section and to the total.
- Category-3 posts are selected on the online exam plus a skill test where the post needs one. There is no interview for these posts.
Topics to Revise This Week
- Co-operative: origin and development of co-operatives, major national co-operatives (Amul, IFFCO, KRIBHCO), the Ministry of Co-operation, and co-operatives in Uttar Pradesh.
- General Awareness: co-operative banks in UP, RBI and monetary policy, NPA and Basel norms, inflation, welfare schemes, UP general knowledge, polity, history, geography and current affairs.
- Computer (clerical): hardware/software, operating systems, internet, MS Office, networking, databases and cyber security basics.
- Commerce (accounts posts): final accounts, bills of exchange, depreciation, bank reconciliation, rectification of errors, audit, salary income and TDS.
- Civil (JE): building materials, estimating, surveying, soil mechanics, hydraulics, irrigation, transportation, environmental engineering, RCC and steel design.
For Candidates Outside Uttar Pradesh
Under the advertisement, SC, ST, OBC, EWS, ex-servicemen and other reserved-category candidates who are not natives of Uttar Pradesh are treated as Unreserved. They get no reservation or age relaxation. Women must use a caste certificate issued in their father's name.
