Notice no. 348 dated 14 October 2026 recommends 6 more candidates for the 7 posts that were left after the first list. With the first list of 68 candidates (16 September 2026), the selection for the 75 advertised posts is now almost complete.

Selection is based on the written exam marks plus the driving test marks. The table shows the department and the marks of candidates recommended in the second list, by category (names are in the official PDF).

The written exam marks of these candidates were between 14 and 17.5, and the driving test marks between 39 and 52.83. The merit follows the general rank under the Uttarakhand Group C direct recruitment rules, 2008.
What Happens Next
- UKSSSC sends the selection recommendations to the departments concerned (the 68 from the first list were sent on 24 September 2026). Appointment letters are issued by the departments.
- The recommendations are subject to the final decision in writ petitions WPSB 221/2026 (Manoj Kumar and others), 2389/2026 (Manmohan Dharmana) and 2413/2026 (Sohan Singh Arya) before the High Court of Uttarakhand.
- One General – Ex-servicemen post stays vacant until the decision in writ petition 2532/2026 (Deepak Singh Negi), following the High Court order of 7 October 2026.
- Selected candidates should keep their original documents and licence ready and watch for letters from the allotted department.
