The OBC reservation increase from 14% to 27% is being challenged in WP 5901/2019 and other cases. Because of this, results are declared in two parts: a main result for 87% of the posts and a provisional result for 13%. Horizontal reservation is 35% for women, 10% for ex-servicemen and 6% for PwD, all within each category. For example, Steno Grade-III has 104 posts for women and 18 for PwD. In addition, 20% of the posts are reserved horizontally for contract staff of the MP High Court and district courts with at least 5 years of service. The number of posts may change through a corrigendum on mphc.gov.in.
